MINISTRY
OF EDUCATION
The
Ministry of Education Chairperson is responsible for assisting the church program organization in planning, conducting and evaluating comprehensive educational programs and providing leadership. Serve as a guide in the selection, enlistment, and training of workers for the ministry. Led the Sunday school classes and select the educational and curriculum materials to be used.
Presently we are using the God’s Love Bank curriculum, authored by Dr. Anthony E. Roach Sr. of Abilene, TX. Dr. Roach serves as the Minister of the Minda Street Church of Christ. The curriculum is designed to address all ages; from the cradle to the senior member of the congregation. There are three components of this curriculum:
• A framework for thinking
• A curriculum for teaching
• A program for living
Each month the curriculum challenges the congregation to examine one of the Core Values of Christ and to embrace the key concepts that the core value is built upon, as a way of growing in our new Christian way of life!
